THRWD MAGAZINE PRESENTS: CRI$P HIP-HOP SHOWCASE w/MEJA JACKSON & THATKIDCAM + THAT THAT – DALLAS, TX w/COLLY T {MUSIC SHOWCASE}

Last Saturday we were out in Dallas, TX to support our homies at THRWD Magazine and their hip-hop CRI$P showcase featuring some of the hottest lyricists and beat makers in Texas down at Pariah Studios.  THRWD is one of the best new things to happen to Dallas – they are an up-and-coming magazine featuring everything from the arts and music, to events, restaurants, and the best Dallas has to offer, they even won Dallas’ ‘Best Magazine‘ award recently and we definitely support any artistic endeavor that sets out to change their city for the better.  Pariah is also amazing, this little studio nestled on the south side of downtown Dallas in what looks like an old military barracks, wouldn’t even know it was a studio until you walked in. It’s dark, grimey, and hot when we walk in to the studio, instantly we were greeted by the THRWD team and showed around!  Deep in the back you could hear beat-boxing and the rhythmic lyricist spitting of the nights hip-hop artists in full swing and the crowd dancing and cheering in the spot-lit room..

After catching Meka Jackson and his dope ass set, it was time for one of the headliners we’d been waiting for at the CRI$P show, ThatKidCam, and he didn’t disappoint!

Once the THRWD showcase was winding down we headed on over to the infamous THAT THAT Gallery in Deep Ellum/Fair Park area of Dallas to catch our friend Colly T spin the night away with some other surprise performances!
