“A hot summer Sunday, the early morning sun hits the train tracks while we go towards an epic mountainous scenery. Breakfast on the train, a quick cigarette before we jump into the car to make the last few kilometers through bavarias beautiful landscape. Then, there it is: the dried lake stretched out in front of us. Cracked lake ground, withered trees, smacking sounds from the last turquoise water filled holes. We put on classical music and Maria starts dancing through this surreal terrain.”
